Approx Sta 3 + 75 Does the existing City of Dallas water vault north side need to be relocated? 2. Approx Sta 5 + 00 thru 8 + 00 Bobwire fence has been removed. 3. Approx Sta 8 + 00 Remove the proposed gravel driveway. 4. Approx Sta 9+25 Need to show proposed driveway. 5. Approx Sta 9 + 50 At various locations throughout the project fire hydrants are shown to be removed. Is it the intent to actually remove them or relocate them? We may need to get with Fire Dept. to determine if they can be physically removed or if they need to be relocated. This will affect bid items. 6. Approx. Sta 11+50 On north side the brick pillar and iron rod fence has an approximately l'x4' jut in the fence toward the proposed roadway. This could affect the placement of the sidewalk. Needs to be surveyed and shown on the plans. 7. Approx Sta 12 + 25 It appears as though an electrical line runs from the south to the north. However, it deadends at the north curb line. Where does this go and is it underground or overhead? It was not visible in the field. 8. Approx Sta 12+75 It appears as though the proposed storm drain inlet should be relocated to the west to avoid conflict with the existing telephone manhole. 9. Approx Sta 12 + 50 There is an approximately l'x6' jut in the brick pillar and iron rod fence towards the roadway. This could affect the location of the sidewalk. 10. Approx Sta 13+50 to Sta 14+50 Show the existing ditch on the south side of the roadway. 11. Approx Sta 15+25 There is a swale on the north side flowing from the north to the south. Show how the water from that swale will be picked up and placed into the proposed drainage system. Will a Y-inlet be needed for that? 12. Approx Sta 17+00 Show irrigation and valves on the north side near the right-of-way taking. 13. At all roadway intersections show the existing brick pavers on the paving plans and indicate on the plans and in the specifications whether those will be reused. 14. Approx Sta 17+25 Need to show the new wooden traffic signal poles and signal boxes and also note to be removed during construction. Show proposed traffic control box in the same location of existing control box, which is at the southeast corner of Heartz and Sandy Lake Road. 15. All improvements associated with Ashton Ridge Development at the northeast corner of Heartz Road and Sandy Lake Road need to be shown On the plans. This includes the brick wall and the water line improvements. 16. Approx Sta 18+50 Show new monument sign for church on south side of Sandy Lake Road. 17. Approx Sta 22+00 Please indicate the direction of the drainage. Will it be away from the roadway and into the Ashton Ridge Development? 18. Approx Sta 21 to Sta 23 Residents in this area have a question of whether or not the street could be lowered in the area to help alleviate some of the traffic noises when the roadway is moved to within 10 feet of their property line on the north side. 19. Approx Sta 22+50 Remove the proposed gravel driveway and the mailboxes. 20. Sta 24+00 Existing alley has a slotted drain. This should be shown and should be shown to be tied into the proposed 10' inlet. 21. Approx Sta 24+00 Show driveway on south side off of alley. 22. Approx Sta 25+00 Show the existing landscaping behind the right-of-way at the northwest corner of Woodcrest with Sandy Lake Road. Also, should be a note that the existing landscaping behind the proposed right-of-way should not be removed. 23. Approx Sta 25+50 Irrigation meters should be shown on the north side of the roadway. 24. General area between Woodcrest and Allencrest Needs to be some consideration about how the area between the back of the curb and the screening wall will drain. If yard inlets are needed those should be shown on the plans. 25. Approx Sta 31+75 On the north side there appears to be some boxes and valves that are not shown on the plans. 26. Approx Sta 32+ 75 There is an existing water meter not shown on the plans. 2 27. Approx Sta 33+ 75 There is an irrigation meter on the north side not shown on the plans. 28. Approx Sta 34+00 The proposed concrete driveway on the north side should be removed from the plans. 29. Approx Sta 34+25 On the south side there is an existing ditch draining to the roadway. How will this water be accommodated? 30. Approx Sta 35+50 On the north side there appears to be several water valves on both the east and west side of Trailwood not shown on the plans. They should be shown on the plans. 31. Please note that on all roadway removal and reconstruction we should go to the nearest existing construction joint for removal purposes. 32. Between Trailwood and Lodge Please comment as to how the area on the north side of the roadway will drain. If inlets are needed those should be shown on the plans. 33. Approx Sta 39+ 75 There appears to be some drainage flowing from the north to the south on the south side of the roadway. Where does this go and how is it being accommodated with this project? 34. Approx Sta 41+25 The proposed inlet on the south side should be shifted to the east to avoid the existing tree. 35. Approx Sta 42+ 00 Consideration should be given to reconfiguring Highland Meadow to more align with Lodge Road on the north side. 36. Approx Sta 42+00 The existing curb on Highland Meadow should be shown and this project should construct the curb from Sandy Lake to the existing curb on Highland Meadow. 37. Approx Sta 47+00 On the south side there appears to be a water valve missing. 38. Approx Sta 48+00 Please comment on how the existing borrow ditches on Holly will be incorporated into this project. Do the proposed inlets need to be open back inlets? 39. Approx Sta 49+ 00 The new utility installations associated with Rejoice Lutheran Church should be shown on the plans. 40. Approx Sta 49+25 There appears to be water meters and GTE risers on the south side not shown on the plans. 41. Approx Sta 51+75 Please comment on how the existing borrow ditches on Nash will be incorporated into this project. Do the proposed inlets need to be open back inlets? 42. Approx Sta 52+50 Consideration should be given to shifting the proposed driveway on the south side approximately one to two feet to save the existing trees. 43. Approx Sta 55+ 00 Plans show existing 48" RCP in the field. It appears to be 2 - 18" RCP's. 44. Approx Sta 56+25 Ghost in existing driveway and label to be removed on the south side. 45. Approx Sta 58+ 00 Regarding the wording on the south side about the 18' sidewalk, landscape and utility easement; is this proposed or existing? 46. Approx Sta 58+50 Appears to be a gas valve on the north side. Please verify. 47. Approx Sta 59+00 Is the intent to utilize the existing sidewalk on the south side or to remove and replace it with a wider sidewalk? 48. Approx Sta 60+50 Appears the alley on the south side needs to be removed to the transition of the inlet. 49. The elevation of the existing center line of Sandy Lake Road needs to be shown in the profile view. 50. Approx Sta 74+50 The traffic controller at the intersection of Mockingbird and Sandy Lake should be relocated to the east side of the intersection to avoid conflict with the existing rock sign wall. 51. Approx Sta 80+00 thru 84+00 The existing Photina hedge on the north side should be shown on the paving plans. It appears the trunk of the Photinas are on the right-of-way line. However, the foliage of the Photinas extend approximately 7 feet into the right-of-way. This needs to be addressed and could be an issue. 52. Approx Sta 81+50 There is no median in Meadow Run Drive. 53. Approx Sta 82+00 There does not appear to be a fence on the north side behind the Photinas. 54. Approx Sta 87+50 Appears that trees on northwest side of Meadow Glen' need to be removed to tie in sidewalk. 55. Approx Sta 90+75 Two mail boxes on the south side should be shown on the north side. 56. Approx Sta 92+00 There appears to be an electrical box on the south side adjacent to the existing fence. 57. Approx Sta 96+00 Telephone riser shown on the south side was not visible in the field. 58. Provide % slope of all driveways, alleys, streets perpendicular to Sandy Lake Road. 59.
