HOURLY RATES AND TRAVEL MILEAGE
The total daily number of hours will be calculated from the laboratory to the project site
and return to the laboratory ( "portal to portal').
Overtime rates apply for hours in excess of 8 hours per day. Work performed at night,
or on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays will be charged at the rate of 1.5 times the base
rates. Night work is defined as prior to 7:00 a.m. or later than 6:00 p.m.
With the exception of radiographic inspection and non - destructive testing, projects
located in excess of 50 miles from Fort Worth will be charges mileage at the rate of
$0.45 per mile. A trip charge will be included for items charged by the test and are in
excess of 50 miles from Fort Worth.
Pick -up charges for concrete or mortar specimens prepared on sites located in excess
of 50 miles from Fort Worth will include this trip charge in addition to the cost provided
in this schedule.
Hourly rates by personnel classification are tabulated below. When desired by the
client, the schedule of fixed hourly rates will be used.
