The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
Cover Sheet -
1. The Grading Permit plans need to indicate For Early Grading Only.
Sheet Index -
1. We normally have the plat submitted with the early grading permit plans, if there is one available
please include it in the plans.
Grading Plan -
1. Have you done the drainage calculations to check the proposed detention pond size?
2. The City has some concerns that the drainage on the existing property will be impacted by this
work and during the full engineering revie~v we will evaluate whether a subsurface drainage
collection system needs to be constructed.
Erosion Control Plans -
1. The City needs a copy of the NOI from the contractor prior to issuance of a permit.
In order to proceed with a permit for this work, please have your contractor fill out and submit to this
office the application for an Early Grading Permit, a copy of which is being included herewith. The
City requires a hold harmless letter from the oxvner. Make sure that the NOl is provided, and contact
Larry Davis at 972-304-3684 to set up a pre-construction meeting. An inspection fee of 2% of the
value of the grading contract is due prior to the pre-construction meeting. After you have made the
necessary changes to the plan set, submit to the City for stamping three sets of these plans for our use
and as many sets as your contractor will need.
