Griffin, P.E., Dir. of Engineering/Pub 'c or~:s March 2, 2004 Copperstone Subdivision Lot 15, Block D / 303 Auburn Wa>, The property owner at 303 Auburn Way contacted us concerning their ability to construct a swimming pool and deck that will encroach into the utility easement at the rear and side of their property (see attached exhibit). The City has no utilities in the existing easement. The Engineering Department has been in contact with Oncor, Comcast and Verizon and they have no objection to the proposed partial utility easement encroachment (see attached letters). To expedite this request is it possible for the property owner to provide a Hold Harmless Agreement letter and proceed with the construction of thc swimming pool? If need be, at some future date we can process an abandormaent of the easement. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. Comcast does reserve the right to have access to the utility easement for the purpose of future build and/or maintenance and repairs. If repair and/or relocation of any facilities becomes necessary in the future, the owner of said property will be responsible for the relocation and/or removal of those facilities from the utility easement.
