Dear Mr. Sutherland:
Thank you for your letter, which I received in my office on September 20. After consultation
with our City Engineer, the following is the city's status with regard to the maintenance of the
structure mentioned on page 2 of your letter.
The north wall was part of the city's drainage improvements passed by the voters in 1999. The
planned improvements will commence sometime during the second quarter of 2003. This will
include the major reconditioning and actual rebuilding of only a portion of the north wall
mentioned in your letter.
