ST9905-ES031002COPPELL October 2, 2003 Minyard Food Stores, Inc. Mr. Jim Conine, Senior Vice President P.O. Box 5 l 8 Coppell, Texas 75019 RE: Bethel Road I ST 99-05 Parcel 8 Dear Mr. Conine: This letter is in response to your question about the possible impact the proposed drainage easement and improvements would have on the future extension of your west drive to Bethel Road. As per your request in the March 26, 2003 letter, the City has preserved the option of a median opening for the future west drive extension. The construction plans do not show a median opening for the future drive since Minyards is not immediately interested in extending the drive. The City has no objections to the drive being constructed across the existing or proposed drainage easement. The design engineer for Bethel Road has indicated that the Future extension of the drive will not conflict with the 3 - 5' x 10' box culverts once they are constructed. The proposed box culverts, as well as the existing box culvert, are Texas Department of Transportation direct load boxes and the top elevation of all of the boxes will be one to two feet under the existing ground elevation. Direct load boxes allow the pavement to be placed right on top of the box culvert, so one foot of cover should be sufficient for the construction ora drive. Enclosed are three plan-profile sheets and one cross-section sheet related to the above-mentioned roadway and drainage improvements. Should you have any questions or need any additional information, please advise. Sincerely, Suzah ~aylor CIP Co{~rdinator 972-304-7019 Enclosures MATCH LINE STA 49+00
