Dear Mr. Ramsey:
This lt:lter is a follow-up to my August 11, 2003 letter concerning the acquisition of right-of-way from
your property located along Bethel Road. Gulf Bearing, Inc., is owner of what is shown as Parcel 5 on
the cr, n~truction plans for the Bethel Road improvements. In order to construct the improvetnen]s, it will
be necessary to acquire right-of-way and two temporary construction easements from Parcel 5. The righ]-
of. way is a corner clip at the inter~ection of Royal Lane and Bethel Road, and the temporary construcuon
easemmts are along the south and east property lines.
The City of Coppell is offering $200 per square foot for the permanent right-or-way and $0.50 per square
toot fib: the temporary construction easements Temporary construction easements are typically acquired
at one ?otulh the value of right-of-way. These easements are not filed with Dallas County and will expire
upon completion of the project by the City.
This letter constitutes ;in offer from the City of Coppcll for the acquisi~on of thc right-of-way and

1. Acquisition of permanent right-of-way at~.00/sq ft. x 458 sq. ft. $916.00
2. Acquisition of temporary construction easement at $0.50/sq ft. x 7,503 sq. fl. $3,751.50

Total $5,015.00
Constr.~ction is scheduled to statl in April 2004 and we need to acquire the necessary righl-ot'-way as
soon ~ possible. Enclosed are copies of the right-of-way and ~empnrary construction easemenk,~,~
documents. Yom- requested changes have been added to the language on the temporary construction ~'
ea~emcnt~ If the above offer is acceptable, please sign below and return to this office. Once the letter is
rec¢ivcd, thc process for payment of the $5,015.00 can start. When ]he check is ready we can arrange a
munmlly agreeable time to meet and notarize the documents in exchange for the check.
