Coppell Fire Hydrants and Water Mains - Schedule
Rick,
Per my discussion today with Ken Griffin, P.E., Coppell Director of
Engineering / Public Works, the referenced project has been placed on
the Tuesday, June 8, 2004, City Council Agenda requesting additional
funding (total of $101,436 / $75,000 was previously budgeted).
County Staff will then recommend a Same Date Briefing / Court Order for
Tuesday, June 15, Commissioners Coud awarding a construction contract
to North Texas Contracting, Inc..
Per my discussion with Vern Franklin, North Texas Contracting will
expedite the execution of the contract, bonds, etc., and should provide
them to Dallas County for final approval / execution Monday, June 21.
He believes they can commence soon thereafter June 21 or June 28, and
will verify.
