April 9, 2004 Melissa Uselding, Project Manager Site Concrete, Inc. PO Box 154489 Grand Prairie TX 75015-4489 COl'FELL Meadowcreek/Rolling Hills Waterline Project WA 99-01 Dear Ms. Uselding: Thank you for your inquiry as to the status of the captioned project that was received April 2, 2004. Please accept my apology for not responding sooner. Subsequent to the final walk-through, I have received requests for additional work to be done at four locations on the project. This prompted me to walk the project again to see if other problems may have arisen. I did notice two other areas of concern. The citizen calls came from 541 Rolling Hills DrY (each of which requests additional grading on their property) and from Meadowcreek requesting asphalt patching. I looked at all of these and consider them to be legitimate complaints. Additionally, I observed erosion at the NW corner of Maywood and Meadowcreek and settlement at the box culvert @ station 36+25 on the plans. This will require contacting the residents at each location of their complaints and getting with me for any questions on the other locations. Additionally, I have had time to review your submittal for final payment and am asking you to make the following corrections: · Item 1-10, connect existing 6" CIP waterline.., was not done and should be omitted from the invoice. Seventeen 8" valves were installed on the project. Four of these were used to tie in existing 6" Waterlines on four side streets. Those 8" valves are paid for under Item 1-12, 8" connections to existing 6"... and should be deducted from Item I-4. Two of the 8" valves were used at the connections to the existing 8" waterlines on each end of the project and are paid for under Item 1-13 connect existing 8" ... and should be deducted from Item 1-4 as well.
