That particular tree is in one of the right-of-way clips as you have probably figured out by now. The lady that lives there talked to our survey crew when they were out in the field and told them she thought the tree was worth $100,000. We will look at the intersection and come up with a few ideas. It will probably be sometime next week since my CADD help is on vacation this week. Kenneth Roberts, PE Huitt-Zollars, Inc. ..... Martha Cosby is the owner of Tract 2 as well the owner of 412 S. Coppell Road. She has said that the 33-inch oak will not be taken out. Ken has requested that you look at trying to save the 33-inch oak by moving the intersection to the north - somewhere between the 33-inch oak and the 15-inch elm. He feels that she will dedicate some right-of-way if we can save these trees. Ken has suggested trying to put a curve in the road - however we do not want to go way back with the tie-in to the existing street. Would you please look at some options on what can be done. If nothing can be done, we will have to change the 25-foot turn radius. Thanks file://C:~Documents%20and%20Settings~staylor~Local%20Settings\Temp\GW} 00001 .HTM 6/2/2004
