121 Water Line Status

Suzan,
I wanted to update you on the status of our 121 waterline project.
1. As of June 3, the alignment modifications have been completed in
plan view.
2. There are 4 locations where Advantex may need to relocate. These
were sent to Alan Anderson on Tuesday June 1 for his review and comment.
To date I have not received any response. I have called 2 x in
addition to the e-mail.
3. Our AutoCad technician has started to redo the profile. As of today
(Friday) he will be complete up to Denton Creek.
4. Our AutoCad technician is a member of the National Guard and must
serve his 2 weeks active duty from June 5 to 20. He will return on June
21 and pick up working on the profile. By that time we should have any
Advantex relocation issues solved. The City may also have more
information on the easement situation at the east end of the line by
that time.
5. I have attempted to make contact with TxDOT for alignment review. I
will continue to make this happen in the next week.
6. I can and will work on the specifications.
So, although we will not make "progress" on the plans before June 21, I
hope to solve the outstanding issues that could slow us down. We will be
returning to full speed on June 21.
If you have any questions or comments, please let me know. I plan to
provide a schedule to complete and bid the project by the end of June.
