Subject: TXU Gas Line
TXU Gas will be cleaning and purging the gas pipeline located at S. Moore and S. Beltline beginning on
Wednesday, September 18, 2002. The purging operation will take approximately 3 - 5 days, during which
there will be times that they are burning off the gas. The flame from this purging operation will be around
50 feet tall. After purging, they will be re-charging the system. During the re-charging, the odor of gas will
be present and may initiate some calls to 911 for reports of gas leaks. Charlie Martin with TXU will
contact Dispatch prior to re-charging the system. Mr. Martin's mobile number is 940-636-0610 should you
