St Joseph-CS040702RECORD DRAWING JUN 30, 2004 WARNING: THIS RECORD DOCUMENT HAS BEEN PREPARED BASED ON INFORMATION MAINTAINED AND PROVIDED BY THE THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR FOR THIS PROJECT: CENTEX CONSTRUCTION. NEITHER THE AGUlRRE CORPORATION, NOR THE ENGINEER WHOSE SEAL APPEARS ON THIS DOCUMENT HAS VERIFIED THE ACCURACY AND/OR COMPLETENESS OF THIS INFORMATION, AND SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ERRORS OR OMISSIONS THAT MAY BE INCORPORATED AS A RESULT OF ERRONEOUS INFORMATION PROVIDED BY OTHERS. To: Date: Subject: "Mike Millican" <mmillican@aguirre.com> <kgriffin@ci.coppell.tx.us> 7/1/2004 3:40:36 PM St. Joseph Village Ken, the good folks at Aguirre have asked me to review and seal the record drawings for the St. Joseph Project. First of all, I want to do whatever I can to help move this project toward final acceptance. But, at the same time I need to be sure to comply with my limits of liability and the limits of liability of Aguirre. I have been told that the staff at Aguirre has revised the original construction plans based on information provided by Centex, and also from on an additional review between Centex and the City's inspector corps. In order to meet the City's requirement to provide record drawings for the work done at St. Joseph, and at the same time not expose myself or Aguirre to some future claim because what is in these drawings is later found to be inaccurate, I would like to adopt, and apply to each drawing, the language in the attached AutoCAD file. When you get a chance, please let me know if I am in bounds or not. Thanks. The attached file is supposed to be in R-14 format. Also, I don't like being one of those weasel like engineers that has to hide behind a bunch of legal mumbo-jumbo; but the insurance guys (read lawyers) make us commit to this type of precaution. Please let me know if you are still having trouble downloading the file. Thanks, Mike M.
