NOTICE TO RESIDENTS - Construction Commencing July 6, 2004

Dear Resident:
The County of Dallas Deparlment of Public Works via the HUD Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG) Program is constructing new 8-inch and 6-inch water mains and related items such
as fire hydrants, valves, etc., for the City of Coppell in your neighborhood. The County of Dallas's
ConS'actor, North Texas Contracting, Inc., was recently awarded this construction contract.
Commencing Tuesday, July 6, 2004, the Contractor shall begin partially removing and reconstructing
the following existing mobile home park streets to install 8-inch and 6-inch water mains and fife
hydrants: Water Line W-1 / north of Timber View between Lots 38 and 39 to Oak Grove Lane, and
Water Line W-2 / along the north side of Park Lane fxom Coppell Road to Kelly Lane. All
construction is within the City's Water Utility Easements. The Contractor anticipates this
construction to last for at least two months. None of this work shall occur outside of the easements.
The City of Coppell, the County of Dallas, and North Texas Contracting, Inc., ask for your complete
cooperation by each resident parking their vehicles off the mobile home park streets under
construction so that the streets can be properly reconstructed. Once new pavement has been placed
on your street, please do not drive your vehicles over the new pavement until the construction
barricades have been removed by the Contractor (up to one week). Please adhere to traffic signage.
Residents that drive on or damage the newly placed paved streets prior to the Contractor
removing the construction barricades shall be held responsible for any replacement costs
