Dear Mr. Saunders:
This letter is written to inform you that at the September 27th meeting, City Council voted to
delay the construction of Sandy Lake Road until such time as the issue concerning the
transmission lines along Sandy Lake Road has been resolved. The delay is open ended and at
this time I am unsure of how long a delay this will create in the Sandy Lake Road project. Once
the issue concerning the transmission lines has been resolved, then you will at that time be
authorized to proceed with the final construction plans for Sandy Lake Road.
Attached is a letter to the Kroger Company and a site plan that the Kroger Company provided
to the City. Once the final plans have been started for Sandy Lake Road, I would request that
you incorporate this median opening and left turn lane into the final construction plans and make
any necessary adjustments to the utilities to accommodate it.
