Re: Golden Triangle Mobile Home Park
Suzan,
They will be there this afternoon (1 p.m.?)..
Per my discussion with Larry this a.m. we (Contractor / County / City)
are trying to resolve an issue about the carrier pipe spacers for both
bores / encasement pipes hopefully by the end of today.
Thanks!
Abel

Abel:
Larry is on the project and the contractor is no where to be found.
Do
you know if they are working today. I told Larry that they might be
at
lunch.

Subject: Update on CDBG Spending
Although the Court was informed in a July 1 email that, because of the
rain that occurred in June, it did not appear that the CDBG program
would be able to meet its annual spending requirement, the program has
nonetheless been able to do so.
That the program was able to do so despite last month's rain was
primarily due to the City of Sachse (who started a sewer project two
weeks ahead of schedule at the beginning of July), the City of
Seagoville (who also made sure that a contractor on one of their
projects got going at the beginning of July), Public Works (who called
and worked with several contractors to make sure that they could get
started), R&B 3 (who is working on road projects in two cities), and
CDBG staff (who made sure that the contractors and cities got their
invoices in by the July 19 deadline). The role that each of these
parties played cannot be overstated; had one of them not been able to do
what they did over the past two weeks, then the program would not have
been able to reach its spending requirement.
More detailed information about July's CDBG activities will be
forthcoming in about two weeks with the completion of the regular
monthly report. Should more information be needed before then, please
advise.
