100% Plans and Specifications
Dear Ms. Taylor:
We are enclosing two sets each of final construction plans and specifications for the S.H. 121 Water Line
project from North Coppell Road to Denton Tap Road (Project WA 01-01). We believe that this project is
ready to proceed to the bidding phase. The only piece missing from the Specifications is the Bid Number
and the structure of dates for the pre-bid meeting and for the receipt of the contractors bid proposal at the
offices of the City of Coppell.
We have also included our Opinion of Probable Construction Cost. As you will notice, we have included a
contingency item for the potential relocation of Grande Communications' fiber optic cable between Sta.
36+25 and 37+00. Although we have contacted Grande, we do not have a formal proposal for relocation
costs associated with this portion of the project. At this time we are estimating $100.00 per linear foot.
Once we have received communications regarding this contingency, we will recalculate the Opinion of
Construction Cost and forward this to your attention.
Please review these documents and advise if there are any issues requiring our attention. We are ready to
proceed, with your approval.
