Itwas nice meeting with you today and being able to reach a consensus
about the project on the NB FR of SH 121 just north of Sandy Lake Rd.
Conceptually, TxDOT approves of the proposed driveway location for the
above-referenced project. It is to be a right-turn only, i.e., an exit
only drive, so hence, no deceleration lane will be required.
However, final approval of the driveway permit will be contingent upon
our satisfactory review of the drainage, grading, and construction plans
for the site.
When the construction drawings are complete, please submit two (2)
half-sized sets to this office along with a Permit to Construct Access
Driveway Facilities on Highway Right of Way which I have attached. The
City of Coppell will also require their own plan sets.
At some point in the future, after the improvements to SH 121 have been
completed, if you would like the driveway to be re-constructed with full
access, i.e., both right in and right out, please contact our office and
we will consider it. At this time, we have no objection to it.
