Dear Mr. Wainscott:
Letters dated December 22, 2003, Mamh 1, 2004, April 6, 2004 and May 19, 2004 from the City of
Coppell notified you regarding certain deficiencies on the above referenced property. The cleanup of
construction debris has not been done to the satisfaction of the City of Coppell. A large pile of loose
debris remains in the center of the lot north of the building. This unsightly condition must be remedied
immediately. Also, as mentioned in previous letters, because of the delayed time period since
construction of underground utilities, the water lines will need to be re-tested (yellow copy submitted
to Engineering) in order to be accepted.
In addition to the debris and waterline issues noted above, a standing water problem still exists on the
lot(s). A bird tested positive for WNV (West Nile Virus) in the subdivision across the street from
this project site. It is imperative that this standing water condition be addressed for the
protection of residents in the immediate area. Also as stated in previous notices, the valve stand
needs to be repaired and a valve pad still needs to be constructed, in addition to installing 8" detector
check valves in the vaults.
Please provide this office with a current status for your project. The Engineering Department has not
accepted the public improvements on this project and cannot sign off on a Certificate of Occupancy
until such time as the improvements are complete. The City has been patient until now, however these
issues remain unresolved on this very visible tract and must be corrected immediately. I urge you to
