In accordance with Specification Section 02643 and ASTM F1962, the record information that should be provided to the City by the Contractor once installation of a particular section is complete is as follows: · Record of the actual as-built bore path, including plan and profile views; · Information obtained during the initial bore on soil characteristics; · Final borehole diameter; · Steering or correction commands during installation; · Drilling fluid usage and pressure; · Type of drill head used; · Records of pullback forces at the drill rig; · Installation rate; · Documentation of fusion temperature, pressure and time for HDPE joints (number joints so that approximate location of each joint can be estimated); Any additional available information related to the installation of the pipe useful in verifying the pipe shall perform the function for which it was designed and constructed should also be provided.
