RE: Riverchase Townhomes Addition
Dear Mr. Rose:
I received your fax of August 9th with a request for the use of rollover curbs in your proposed
townhome addition. We will accept the detail with certain stipulations:
1) The measurement of the street needs to be 27' between the flow lines of the gutters on each
side. That will increase the paving width by approximately two feet. In addition, the City
requires 30 lbs. per square yard minimum lime for subgrade stabilization. Concrete strength
needs to be 3600 psi, 5-sack cement for hand-placed pavement
2) In addition to the detail for the curb, we need a detail for the driveways where they will tie
into the curb. Please provide those details as well as a full section of the rollover curb paving
as a site-specific detail in your construction plans.
Your request for delayed payment of Park Impact fees is being denied at this time. The
Engineering Department has no control over park fees, as they are contained in the fee
assessment letter as a matter of convenience only. The amount of the Park Impact fee is dictated
solely by the Parks Department. If you have any other questions or would like to discuss these
matters, please feel free to call me.
Sincerely,
Keith R. Marvin, P.E.
