Dear Mr. Sass:
This letter is written as a follow-up to our telephone conversation ,on SePtember 14, 1994 in .....
which we discussed the stares of the project and the visibility triangles. As stated in the
meeting, Council will not be stopping but basically slowing down progress on the Sandy Lake
Road project until a closer and harder look can be taken of the location of the proposed Texas
Utilities Transmission lines. Because it could affect the location of landscaping if the lines are
placed on the south side of the road or if they are in the median, etc, I have informed you that
you should not go to construction drawings at this time.
Also, your letter mentions visibility at intersections. I have informed you according to the
Subdivision Ordinance that the visibility triangles for collector and arterial streets are as stated
in Section 1 D.2. Miscellaneous Thoroughfare Standards (pages 78-79)and also as shown on
Figure A-1 (page 69).
With this letter, I am providing copies of pages 78, 79 and 69 of our Subdivision Regulations.
Also, as stated in our telephone conversation, this visibility triangle applies to all intersecting
streets, alleys and commercial driveways along Sandy Lake Road. If you should have any
questions about this information please feel free to contact me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
Ke~Tnneth M. Griffin, P.E.
