Deforest Road Force Main Line 'D' Project SS 99 -01
Based on information received today, the following represents the anticipated work in the next few
weeks on Force Main Line 'D'. IJnmediate concern being the comer of Village Parkway/MacArthur.
The following represents a timetable for the completion of that comer:
8/10/04 Complete connection; retighten bolts; form-up manhole base and pour concrete for base.
8/11/04 Retighten bolts/last time; build and set manhole to grade; begin backfill of hole.
8/12/04 Set forms for sidewalk; begin final grading.
8/13/04 Pour sidewalk (if it rains on August 11th, sidewalk will be poured on Aug. 14th).
The following represents the current status of the bore from south of Laguna to north of Parkway. The
bore length is approximately 1300 linear feet. As of noon today, the pilot hole has been completed for
approximately 950 feet.
The following represents a timetable for events in the coming weeks:

Complete pilot hole, which provides approximately a 12" opening.
Begin first ream.
Complete first ream, providing approximately an 18" opening; complete fusing pipe;
secure both pit areas with 6' chainlink fence.
Begin second ream.
Complete second ream, providing approximately a 36" opening.
Begin third ream.
Complete third ream, providing approximately a 44" opening.
Begin pulling pipe.
Complete pulling pipe.
