Re: High Towers in Sandy Lake Road
Dear Mr. Griffen:
I have been a resident of Coppell since March 1983. I am opposed to having high tower
electric/telephone lines down the center of Sandy Lake Road. As one of the four major roads
(Denton Tap, Belt Line, MacArthur, and Sandy Lake) in Coppell, I believe this road widening
project will have a major impact on the attractiveness of Coppell as a community in which to live.
I believe all electric/telephone lines along Sandy Lake Road should be placed underground --
thus enhancing the attractiveness of this major road through our community. I recognize that the
expense of putting the lines underground is much more than on a tower, but we will have to live
with the results for as long as we are a part of the community, which may be for as long as I am
alive. Please make my wishes known to the City Council.
