Suzan,
Attached is Addendum #3 for the proposed re-alignment west of Royal. When I was putting this together [
assumed we would not need to adjust the vertical alignment. I remember spending a lot of time adjusting the
vertical profile through this area before we reached a happy median where we could avoid steep drives on the
north and limit fill on the south. If we lower the profile on the south to avoid some fill over the explorer line, we
will end up with steeper drives on the north. If we can avoid adjusting the vertical profile I think it would be well
worth it. Please review the attached addendum, and I will put a hard copy in the mail tomorrow. Also, it's going to
be tough to make the mid-August date for completing the plans with the additional re-alignment work, although we
will try. Thanks.
