RE: Sandy Lake Road from MacArthur to Denton Tap
Dear Mr. Griffin:
Thank you for meeting me today to discuss the proposed
work on Sandy Lake Road. As I mentioned, a solid median
with no break the length of Kroger's property would have a
very negative impact. If we were to develop a store on the
site, it would inconvenience our Coppell customers. If we
consider selling the property, it will significantly reduce
the land value.
The development plan (see attached), designed when we
purchased the property, depicts median breaks on both Sandy
Lake and MacArthur. One exists today on MacArthur as
planned. We respectfully request that a break be provided
for along Sandy Lake generally located as shown. As we
discussed, Kroger will draw a more specific location plan
upon receipt of scaled drawings from your office.
