Dear Ms. Whaley:
Please review the attached preliminary plans for conflicts with existing utility lines and
for planning of relocation of your utility lines within the Sandy Lake Road project area.
The existing roadway is being replaced with a four lane boulevard which may be
expanded to six lanes in the future. The grade of the proposed roadway will be, on
average, 2' to 3' lower than the grade of the existing roadway between Denton Tap Road
and MacArthur Boulevard, causing vertical conflicts between proposed improvements and
existing utilities.
If you have any questions or require adch'tional information, please do not hesitate to call.

Dear Mr. Ryburn:
Please review the attached.preliminary plans to verify the limits of the relocation of the
30" Dallas Water Utilities main in Sandy Lake Road. The bulk of the relocation is
driven by the depth of cut required for the roadway at .the crest of hills and depth of
cover required on the 30" main in order to install air release valves. The existing main
is shown to be left in place where it is a minimum of 2 feet below the bottom of the
proposed subgrade.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to call.
