thc dcsign of nnprovcmcnts Ilar Sandy Lake Road (west City limits to North Coppcll Road) and
Roval Lane (Sandy Lake Road to Northpoint) Thc cxisting two-lane asphalt roads will bc
rcplaccd xxith four-lanc dividcd, concrctc road~ays with improved drainage An eight-foot hike
and bike trail xxill bc constructed along thc south side of Sand5' Lake Road. from State Road
castward to North Coppcll Road Thc projcct is in thc final design phasc and thc City is in thc
process of obtaining thc right-of-x~ay and cascmcnts ncccssaD' to construct thc prqjcct. It will be
ncccssaD to obtain right-of-xxay and a tcmporaD' slope cascmcnt on propcrty that is owned by
JSCP Partnership LP.
Thc improvcd section of Sand5 Lakc Road cnds just cast of the intcrscction with North Coppcll
Road Additional right-of-way will be rcqnircd to construct an asphalt transition from thc
m~provcd roadway to thc ummprovcd roadway during this project_ and for thc construction of the
futurc roadway improvcmcnts fi'om North Coppcll Road to Dcnton ]'ap
North Coppcll Road. frown the intcrscction with Sandy Lakc Road northward a distancc of 349
feet. will bc reconstructed as part of this projcct Duc to thc supcrelcvation rcquircd on Sandy
l,akc Road, thc clcvation of Coppcll Road will have to bc raised by as much as five toot to allow
for thc strccts to tic in Thc raising of thc road will providc for a safe intcrscction with rcspcct to
