Right-of-Way Stakes
Dear Ms. Smith:
This letter is written as a follow-up to your voice mail concerning the staking of the proposed right-of-
way. I requested the consultant to prepare an exhibit that showed the points that were recently staked.
The consultant set five right-of-way stakes for the proposed realignment of Kaye Street to the north.
The additional right-of-way will be required from the north side of Kaye Street only. There will not be
any right-of-way required on the south side of the street so no new stakes were set. The comer clip on
your lot will not be required with the realignment.
The realignment will place the back of curb approximately 10 feet fi.om both the 33-inch oak and the
15-inch elm. If you have concerns about the location of the back of curb, I can have a city inspector
spray paint the approximate location of the curb for you. Part of the proposed curb is located in the
existing roadway and can not be staked. The city inspector is also available to meet with you to discuss
the staking and the proposed alignment. He is in the ofl~ce fi.om 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
