Plan approval letter
Dear Mr. Hamilton:
The City of Coppell has reviewed the revised plans for the referenced addition. These plans
meet our current minimum standards with the exception of the following comment:
Please remove the curvature in the sanitary sewer line.
Once this change has been made, please submit revised construction plan sets for the City
Engineer's stamp. The City of Coppell requires three sets of final construction plans for its use;
your office should submit as many additional sets for stamping as necessary for construction
operations. All contractors and subcontractors onsite must have a copy of the plans approved by
the City of Coppell.
All fees must be paid prior to release of this project for construction. The City charges a 2%
inspection fee for all private construction outside the building's footprint. This would include
dirt work, paving, storm drain, water lines, sewer lines, drainage pipes, etc. that are private. For
all installations in public right-of-way, the City of Coppell charges a 4% fee. A check for
inspection fees made to City of Coppell should be submitted with the Construction Development
Permit application with a copy of the contract(s) attached and the appropriate 2% and 4%
calculations shown for verification purposes. If you have any questions, please contact me at
