PRESS RELEASE
Road Closure
MacArthur Blvd.
(north of Belt Line Rd.)
Beginning Friday, September 17, 2004, 8:00 p.m. through Sunday, September 19,
2004, 6:00 p.m., MacArthur Blvd., north of Belt Line Rd., will be closed for
improvements to the DART Railroad crossing.
Traffic Control Plan
Southbound MacArthur Blvd. will exit at Riverchase Dr. to Fairway Dr., turn
west on Belt Line Rd., and south on MacArthur Blvd., to proceed in a southerly
direction.
· Northbound MacArthur Blvd. will turn east on Belt Line Rd., take Fairway Dr.
to Riverchase Dr. to north MacArthur Blvd.
· East or west Belt Line Rd. will exit at Fairway Dr., turn on Riverchase Dr., and
then onto MacArthur Blvd.
Construction of this project is being administered and inspected by Dallas County
and TxDOT. The project consists of the construction of a southbound, left-turn
lane on MacArthur Blvd. @ Belt Line Rd. The southbound lanes of MacArthur
Blvd. will be reconfigured to add a left-turn lane, eastbound onto Belt Line Rd.
You may want to seek alternate routes. We apologize for any inconvenience this
