Brighton Manor-CS040923 (2)From: Keith Marvin To: Caruthers, Scott Date: 9/23/2004 11:42:23 AM Subject: Re: Brighton Manor Scott, The city would prefer that the sidewalk connect to the existing sidewalk approximately 2-3 feet south of your property line. The power pole and telephone pedestal can not be located within the sidewalk. The sidewalk shall conform to City of Coppell standards, and should be located within the Right of Way. In the event you refuse to construct the portion between your property line and the existing sidewalk, the alignment of that portion adjacent to your property must be such that the connection can be made in the future in accordance with City of Coppell standards and ADA requirements. With this being the case, we do not need to connect to the existing sidewalk since the existing sidewalk stops short of our site. I don't believe we are required to bridge off-site gaps in the sidewalk. We will still have to contend with the power pole but we can easily curve around it and maintain our 4'. The telephone pedestal is not along our frontage where we shouldn't have to contruct the sidewalk so that conflict is no longer an issue for us. I have attached some photos showing our property corner in relation to the existing sidewalk, power pole and pedestal. Let me know what you think. <<DSCN6212.JPG>> <<DSCN6211.JPG>> <<DSCN6210.JPG>> <<DSCN6213.JPG>> Scott D. Caruthers, P.E.
