TxDOT Standard PCTB (1 & 2) - 02 2. The culvert design will have to be cast in place because of fill depth above the culvert. The PC-5 standard originally referenced is no longer applicable and the current precast standard does not address fill depths above 12 feet. We are modifying the plans to reflect a 10'x8' cast in place. The referenced TxDOT Standard is MC-10-23. You may want to consider a bid alternate allowing Contractor to submit a precast alternate. Of course the precast manufacturer would have to certify to its design and application. 3. In Ken's comments he indicated adding a median opening at the nursery. I do not recall this opening being in the contract scope. I want to add this to the scope with corresponding additional fee. We are back checking plans today with the exception of the median opening. Gilbert is preparing tree plots for Garreth. No word from TDLR. I will stay on them. Bill William G. Pembroke, P.E. Senior Project Manager Jacobs Civil Inc. 6688 N.
