Re: Application for Bonding
Two year 50% Maintznance Bond to City of Coppell
Concrete Work-- anticipated bond amount $41, ! 92
Dear Mr. Rose:
We have received 3,our faxed Applicat/on for the above-referenced bond, and tbrwatded
it lo the surety for underwriting consideration.
Absent any serious Cha~ges in conditions as represented on the application, and assuming
successful completion of the work, the surety has approved issuance of the maintenance
bond. The premium rate would be $25/M (2.5%) per year on the anticipated bond
amount, which comes out to $2,060.
The surety is SureTec Insurance Company, a federal treasury-approved surety company
headquar'.ered in Houston with an A. M. Best rating of A- "Excellent".
In order to proceed, we would need to get the original signed application, as well as a
schedule of values clearly outlining the work to be covered by the bond, and the location
of thc work. We will also need a contact person at lhe city that we can call to confirm that
the work had been completed.
Since tilts bond will not be needed for several months, we must add the following
disclaimer: Surely rates and underwriting requirements are subject to change, b~ed upon
conditions at the time of the actual request to execute the bond,
Sincerely,
PCL Contract Bonding Agency
