This R.F.I. is in regards to the location of thc end of the proposed 20" force main for the above ret'~enced
project. On sheet #39 of the conslruetion plans, the proposed location of thc end of our 20" force main is at Sta.
47-65. The exbting 20" force main that our line is to be connected to "by others" wa~ to sta.n at Sra. 47+72.68.
It was discovered that thc location of the existing 20" force main is not in the same locatiori as shown on thc
plans and that its actual !ocation is at Sra, 48+27. Please authorize "in writing" the installation of approximatel
60 additional feet of 20 force main pipe "as directed" by the City inspector. This would change our ending
station for Line "A" ~o S/a, 48*25. This work would be done at our existing contract unit prices. Please
confirm "in writing" your acceptance o£ our proposal as soon az possible.
Please respond to this R.F.I. at your earliest convenience. Your help is greatly appreciated.

The installation of approximately 60 linear feet (LF) of additional 20-inch ductile iron pipe at
the end of Line A (from Sra. 47+65 to Sta. 48+25), as directed by the City inspector, is
authorized. This work will be done at the existing contract unit prices. Note that the City
does expect a credit change order for the combination sewage air vacuum/air release valve
not installed and for the two trees that were not bored under.
