Gentlemen:
We are in receipt of you letter dated June 15, 2000 in which you indicate you are awaiting delivery of certain
SCADA system components for the final completion of the project. Based on our conversation with the
City's water utility personnel, we understand other key items of work remain incomplete; namely the
electrical wiring required to power the motor operator for the valve and the replacement of a portion the
elevated storage tank concrete foundation that was removed in order to install the new valve.
Although you are waiting for SCADA equipment, it appears other work necessary could be completed at this
time in order to expedite the final completion of this project. Please carefully review the scope of work
required to fully complete this project and furnish the required labor, equipment and materials at your earliest
possible opportunity.
As a reminder, your completion date for all items of work on this project was June 9, 2000. In addition, the
City has not conducted a final inspection of the project as one has yet to be requested by Advantage Contract
Services, Inc. A final inspection is required and all items on the punch list that may be developed by the City
must be completed prior to final acceptance of this project.
Please indicate your receipt of this directive and respond with your revised schedule and anticipated date for
final inspection and walk-through of this project. If you need any clarification or additional direction, please
do not hesitate to contact this office.
