The City of Coppell has no objections to the concept of what the City of Lewisville is requesting relative to
the right turn lane and the additional deceleration lane along MacArthur. When final design takes place for
the adjacent lots we may work out some details for the construction.
I realize you are not involved in the design of the properties impacted by those changes, but any right of
way that needs to be dedicated shall be reflected on the plat prior to it being filed. Coordinating with
TxDOT and the City of Lewisville has always been a condition of this plat approval. The Engineering
Department will be holding this plat until an appropriate resolution has been reached.
Any comments Lewisville and/or TxDOT may have regarding the project you are currently designing
should also be addressed. Any plan revisions resulting from these comments needs to be submitted to
the City of Coppell for final approval.

Keith, I sent a note to Steve Homeyer tegarding the. decel lane and
drainage for our Vista Point II Project. He sent the fbllowing response
(my note to Steve is at the bottom of this page). Are there still
concerns about the decel lanes for this current project? Please let me

Coppell had some concerns regarding the decel lanes. It was my
understanding that they were going to send a letter identifying their
concerns and how they wanted to address them. As a result, I was
waiting to see what they were going to do before I reviewed your
submittal

Vista Point II - Coppell
Steve, Dave Littleton here. Back some time ago we sent some information
to you regarding our project in Coppell. This project has a new decel
lane on SH 121 that apparently will require some approval or concurrence
from the City of Lewisville. We are also connecting to the drainage
system in SH 121 (as per original design). Please let me know if you
have any questions regarding this issue and if you need additional
information in order to concur with the plans. Thanks for your help!
