Construction Materials Testing
Dear Mr. Gee:
Enclosed please find a set of plans and specifications for the above referenced project. The
project consists of the demolition of the existing l 1.2 MGD DeForest Wastewater Lift Station
and construction of a new 14.4 MGD submersible lift station, and demolition of the equipment
from the existing 9.9 MGD Sandy Lake Wastewater Lift Station and the construction of a new
4.3 MGD lift station within the existing lift station structure. The City of Coppell awarded a
construction contract to Can-Fer Construction Company on October 12, 2004.
Please provide an estimate of the type and number of construction materials tests required for the
project based on the construction plans and the City's standards, and submit an agreement for the
testing. The contractor is responsible for payment of materials testing done before 8:00 a.m. and
after 5:00 p.m.
