Submitted herein are results of our analysis of the pavement subgrade at the above referenced
site. The exposed pavement subgrede was sampled and three (3) typical subgrade samples were
obtained. Atterberg-limit tests were performed on three (3) of the samples and a lime series was
performed on the most plastic material. Results of the At~.erbergqimit tests and the lime series are
atmchefl to this report.
Based on visual observation of the exposed pavement subgrade, results of the Attcrberg-limit
tests and lime series and minimmn requirements of the City of Coppell, it is recommended that
the subgrade along all stleets be stabilized with a minimum of 30 lb}. per sagare yard of h,,.~v~ted
time fro' 6 inch thick: com~ae, te_fl de,,th. The. recommended rate of application is based on a dry
~nit weight of 1U~ ~cf (by XS=I'M-~98) t3~plcal for calculations in the absence of proctor results.
All mechanical stabilization should be pertbrmed in general compliance with the City of Coppell
Standards and Specifications.
