RE: Irrigation System
Dear Mr. Griffin,
We are pleased to submit the following proposal for your
consideration.
Norway will install a~lawn irrigation system in accordance
with a sprinkler plan designed expressly for above and by the
following specification:
1) Controller to be LMC-19 , W/ Rain/Freeze Sensors.
2) Approximately 113 lawn heads, Weathermatic #LX4 pop-up
action, with MPR nozzles.
3) Approximately 8 sprinkler heads in shrub areas to be
mounted on copper risers, brass nozzles and adapters.
4) ONE INCH Double Check assembly to be enclosed in box and
shall conform to city specifications.
5) Approximately 14 Weathermatic #11024-10 FCR series
electric valves shall be installed in 6" valve boxes.
6) Piping shall be Class 200, PVC, with Sch. 40 fittings.
A flexible nipple shall be used between heads and pipe.
7) Direct burial wiring shall be #14 ga. UF coated copper.
SPECIAL PROVISIONS: The plan shall be designed prior to
installation and shall constitute a part hereof. Actual field
conditions may indicate the advisability of adding additional
equipment to insure uniform distribution and even coverage of
moisture. Norway shall assume all cost incident to said
installation of additional equipment.

INSTALLATION shall be done in a professional and workmanlike
manner. All trenches back-filled and shall be flooded in to
prevent aftersettling, walks shall be clean and refuse
removed.
This contract is subject to acceptance within 30 days from
the date hereof.
Terms shall be Balance due upon completion of installation
and performance of system.
Total cost of this contract $10,400.00

All materials are fully guaranteed for ONE year to be without
defect, of standard quality or better, and the installed
system is guaranteed for ONE year from date of completion to
give uniform distribution and even coverage of moisture.
Parts and Labor are included.
Maintenance of the system, i.e., raising and lowering of
heads to compensate for lawn growth, cleaning and adjustments
of heads, raising and lowering of shrub heads to compensate
for shrub growth, shall be given the purchaser of this system
at no charge for one year from the completion of the
installation as a part of this contract.
Maintenance and guarantee as stated above does not include
alterations due to relandscaping, accidents, vandalism or
violent acts of nature.
