Keith,
I spoke to Eddy Eckerd with Goodwin & Marshall today regarding the grading plans submitted for the
Beltline Trade Center. They are looking for tree mitigation credits for the building foot print as well as
some relief for trees to be removed for a detention pond. He indicated that he has had some previous
discussions with Ken Griffin about flooding on neighboring properties that can be controlled on their
property by enlarging the detention pond, but he doesn't want to mitigate the trees. I informed him that the
only way I could give him credits for the building foot print or the detention pond would be from an
approved site plan which would require the DRC process. Our conversation ended with Mr. Eckerd
agreeing that they needed to go through the DRC process.
