At the November 4 DRC meeting I received a revised tree mitigation plan for the Coppell Trade Center.
Under the Tree Mitigation Tabulations it shows a credit of 170" for the planting of (85) 2" caliper
Ornamental Trees. This credit does not meet with the minimum standards for obtaining a landscape
credit, which is the planting of 3" over-stow trees The average life span of an ornamental tree will be 15
years or less, and therefore are not used for tree mitigation purposes. The Tree Mitigation Tabulations
should be the following:
