Additional questions for Sandy Lake:
Can office space be used in the vacant retail center at the southeast comer of
Sandy Lake and MaeArthur in lieu of a job trailer?
Item #gg Furnishing and Placing Stamped Concrete is paid by the square yard.
The specification statos that the payment shall be made on the basis of price bid
per SY of stamped concrete of thickness specified. The stamped concrete in the
medians, intersections and drives are different thickness. Can you include the
following items so that the prices are not skewed?
1. 4" stamped integral concrete
2. 6" stamped integral concrete
3. 8" stamped integral concrete
Will the contractor be able to usc a cofferdam or sheet piling for dewatering?
If thc multi box culvert is cast-in-place and built in quarters, how do the boxes
connect if the cement stabilized backiill is intended for a pre, cast box? Can a
detail be provided showing a construction joint? Plan sheet 55 of 94, note #3,
rethrences TxDOT standard drawing PC-5 for reinforcing and joint details. I was
unable to locate this detail in the TxDOT standard drawings. Additionally, is the
contractor to use the latest revision of the standards for the cast-in-place MBC?
The revised standards have a substantial increase in the steel. Which design does
the city want?
