You recently contacted this office requesting an exhibit showing the proposed work to be done under the
captioned project. I am sorry to inform you that there are no exhibits for this project available for posting. I
copied the information below from our City website (ci.coppell.tx.us). Perhaps this description will suffice
until more information becomes available at the public meeting to be held December 7a.
ST 99-02 WEST SANDY LAKE ROAD
· SH 121 to Coppell Road North and ROYAL LANE (Northpoint to Sandy Lake Road)
A design contract for Sandy Lake Road was awarded to Teague, Nail and Perkins, Inc. on December
12, 2000. The project consists of the reconstruction of the existing 2-lane asphalt road to a 4-lane
divided roadway with improved drainage, and the construction of two additional lanes to make Royal
Lane a 4-lane divided roadway. The project is in the design phase and the construction plans are 80%
complete. Construction of the improvements is anticipated to start in the 2nd Quarter of 2005.
· Coppell Road north to Denton Tap Road
A design contract for Sandy Lake Road was awarded to Teague, Nail and Perkins, Inc. on December
~2, 2000. The project consists of the reconstruction of the existing 2-lane asphalt road to a 4-lane
divided roadway with improved drainage. The project is in the preliminary design phase. Construction
of the improvements is anticipated to start in 3rd Quarter 2007.
Construction plans are available for review in this office, where copies of individual pages can be reproduced,
if desired, from the set of over 100 plan pages. I was unable to determine the level of detail your request
entailed during our conversation, so I included with this letter a copy of a map showing furore City of Coppell
projects with the ST 99-02 project limits highlighted. The graphic echoes the text description above. I hope
