The following is an update on the MacArthur Force Main Project and a schedule for the next section.
As of 10/26/04:
time used - 40% (121 days out of 300 days bid )
pipe installed - 47% (4103 feet out of total of 8707 feet)
Currently setting up for next bore, rebuilding the 24" reamer to more resemble the modified 36" & 48" reamers, repairing some teeth on the
36" reamer, beginning work on manhole by Laguna and evaluating what other landscaping needs to be performed.

pilot hole - 10/28; 10/29; 11/01; & 11/02
24" reamer 11/03; 11/04; 11/05; & 11/08
36" reamer- 11/09; 11/10; ll/ll;& 11/12
46" reamer- 11/15; 11/16; ll/17;& 11/18
pull pipe - 11/19 or 11/20
This bore will also require the closure of Parkway at MacArthur for a short time while the pipe is being pulled.
Schedule could change for the positive if less time is needed for each bore or for the negative if weather becomes a factor. In any case, the
next bore will be complete before Thanksgiving.
