Walk thru for Grapevine Sewer
A walk-thru on the above referenced project was conducted on 5/6/96
and the items below were found to be deficient.
1. Sta. 42+52.27 grout needed, rain pan, chimney seal. Abandon existing manhole.
2. 40+35.00 Rain pan, Chimney seal, line is very dirty.
35+40.41 rain pan, chimney seal, inflow on incoming invert. No access to line on
Loch Lane.
33+47.78 grout manhole, chimney seal, holding 1/3 pipe of water, all seams need
grout for inflow.
5. Plans show that manhole coming from Bums should still be in place.
30+46.68 Raise to grade, grout, chimney seal, ra/n pan. Need access to N. Coppell
line, abandon old manhole.
25+47.35 grout manhole, chimney seal, remove sand bag. What is line coming in
from s.w. 2 ft. off floor, line needs cleaning.

20+56.00 chimney seal, poor compaction, seam leaking where 4 ft. meets 5ft. Need
class 400 lid and ring installed.
9. 16+36.00 grout, chimney seal, re-center ring & lid.

12+10.00 grout, chimney seal, re-center lid & ring, clean pipe & floor, crack in
wall, existing manhole at park needs to be raised to grade.

8+54.53 (.57) chimney seal.
5+41.02 chimney seal 26in. of riser. Rings makes manhole neck too long.
Manhole before inverted siphon saw no sra. # chimney seal torn and has no lower
band, invert needs work badly, plug old line and abandon old manhole @ edge
of street.
1+62.33 missing bolts, flow needs to be diverted into siphon box. Get old manhole
lid & ring out of creek bottom.
0+40 needs gaskets on bolts for bolt down.
0+08 needs ring reset to cone.
