Revised water location information
Dear Mr. Hamilton:
The water line shown on sheet C1.04 of the approved plans for the reference project is not
located as shown. The actual location is in the westbound lane of Sandy Lake, near the median.
Access to that line would require removing a section of Sandy Lake Rd, boring underneath the
existing pavement and tapping an existing 16" water main.
An acceptable option to this would be to make a minimum 2" tap on an existing 8" stub out
located approximately 100' east of the east property line of Lot 3 and run a minimum 2" copper
line to serve Lot 3. The 2" line would have to be located in the north ROW of Sandy Lake Road
and the valve at the existing 8" waterline would have to be a gate valve with valve box that will
permit isolation of the 2" service.
Please advise the City of Coppell as to your choice of resolution. It will be acceptable to simply
"as-built" this change once a decision is made. If you have any questions or desire additional
