RE: Proposed Installation along Royal Lane from Irving to SH 121
Dear Mr. Massie:
I have reviewed the information submitted with your most recent permit request and have the
following questions and comments:
1. Permission must be secured in writing to cross the DART railroad line north of IH 635.
Please provide this office with a copy of the permission letter or document.
2. It appears that a section of your proposed line will run through or along property owned by
DFW International Airport. Permission to be on their property must be acquired.
3. You may need formal permission from Explorer Pipeline to cross their pipeline in the
vicinity of Royal Lane and Bethel Road. Patrick Nwakoby should be contacted for approval
or information on the process to secure approval. Mr. Nwakoby's contact number is 918-
493-5100. Please provide to this office a copy of any approval given by Explorer Pipeline to
cross their facilities.
4. You will need permission from TxDOT to cross under the IH 635 bridge over Royal Lane.
Please submit a copy of the permit or letter of permission granted by them for work in that
area.
I noticed on your proposed plans that, rather than following Royal Lane in a direct northerly
path from Irving to Coppell, your route takes a jog along "Radio Rd" then up to "Cotton Rd"
then back over to Royal Lane in Coppell's limits. Be advised that both of those roads have been
abandoned within the past few years and may not be accessible. In any case it would be more
efficient to follow Royal Lane directly.
