In accordance with my telephone message to you earlier in the week, enclosed you will
find a check in the amount of $380.00 from the City of Coppell made payable to you for
the work you had performed on your property. As I mentioned in the telephone message,
it is not customary for the city to pay an invoice for work done on private property,
particularly when the city was not involved in defining the scope of the work to be done
or in determining the pricing for the work to be done. However, given the circumstances
surrounding your property, we feel it is in everyone's best interest to make this payment
at this time.
It is important for me to mention that this is a one-time payment only and it does not
constitute an agreement for the city to continue making payments for future clean up of
this particular property. In the future should your contact with City of Coppell personnel
not resolve issues in an agreeable manner between the city and yourself, please feel free
to contact me directly prior to engaging anyone to perform work of this nature.
It is our hope that this brings this matter to a close in a satisfactory manner to you. Feel
