Repainting of the 1.5 Million Gallon Elevated Tank ~2:hange Order Number 1
Dear Mr. Saldivar:
The City of Coppell finds your proposal for replacing the wet ladder inside the tank bowl dated April 7, 2000
acceptable. Therefore, we are enclosing five copies of Change Order Number 1 to your contract with the City
of Coppell for the Repainting of the 1.5 Million Gallon Elevated Storage Tank. Change Order Number 1
covers the additional work required to replace the wet ladder inside the tank bowl. If the change order is
acceptable, please sign and return all five copies to this office. Upon execution by the City of Coppell, we
will forward two fully executed originals for your files.
In addition, the project inspector has noted several areas in the conical section of the tank that are in need of
welding repairs. These repairs may possibly exceed the 10-hours originally established in the contract
document for welding. On behalf of the City of Coppell and at the project inspeetor's direction, you are
hereby instructed that the quantity for the welding repair by the hour may be exceeded by as much as 10
additional hours. Please keep accurate and detailed records of your welders work on this project and submit
those with your next pay request. If you have any questions or need additional information, please do not
hesitate to contact this office.
